Europe, the Middle East and African life and health insurers continue to invest in technologies to make their business more efficient. What are their business plans and IT priorities for 2020? Are there specific initiatives they prioritize?

Every year we survey insurance CIOs across different regions including Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Perceived CIO Role in a Post Digital Era (multiple answers possible):

With this annual report, Celent examines business priorities, IT budget and investment being launched. In total, 29 EMEA life and health insurance CIOs, CTOs, or architects participated to our survey of life and health insurance in EMEA. This report shows the main findings of this year’s survey for life and health insurers in EMEA.

Since we have launched our survey, the economy - in many of the EMEA countries - has been hit by the COVID-19 virus. We have considered the impact of the COVID-19 virus on the market in the final section of the report, explaining our predictions for the next couple of years.
