To promote its mobile payments offering, Barclaycard has posted on YouTube their ligh-hearted take at the history of payments. I strongly encourage you to take a look, especially if you like English humour. Did you know that the barter system was named after its inventor Tony Barter? :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOKZYk9pnBI&feature=player_embedded By the way, that look on the last merchant's face when he receives a mobile payment is funny, but expect to see something similar next time you try to pay by mobile.
