CSI and Fintech Focus invited Zil Bareisis, Celent’s Senior Analyst in Banking, to have a conversation about a broad range of payments topics. The interview took place on October 22, 2019, and addressed questions on the following subjects:

  • Payments megadeals.
  • Open banking.
  • Keeping up with payments innovation, including controls, digital or “push” provisioning, and migration to contactless cards in the US.
  • Securing online transactions.
  • Banking and GAFA (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple).

The recording of the actual podcast is available to listen to on the CSI website and any regular podcast subscription channels. CSI has also kindly allowed us to make the edited transcript of the interview available to other Celent clients via this short report.
