With increasing synergy between technology and trading functions, this year’s event offers the best of both worlds, covering key issues that matters to traders (TradeTech) and critical challenges that those working in technology (Trading Architecture) are facing. The morning plenary sessions cover topics that matter to both: Economic outlooks for Japan, the changing financial marketplace and the importance of HFT to Japan.

For the afternoon the conference breaks down into two dedicated streams. The trading stream covers critical issues such as the changing buy/sell side relationship, the growth and development of algos and the increasing importance of dark pools whilst the technology stream deals with the new technology requirements created by the unveiling of the JPX as well as SOR’s and the latency race.
