Overview
Who we are
SaaScada is a B2B Banking SaaS platform that enables existing financial institutions to take their offerings to the next level, challengers to build from the ground up, and non-banking organisations to embed fintech to grow their business.
A core driver for SaaScada is the desire to create core banking technology to enable financial institutions to provide first class banking services to all customers, including those who were underserved by mainstream banks. According to the World Bank, financial inclusion is a key enabler to reducing poverty and boosting prosperity, so we work closely with our customers and partners to achieve aligned sustainability goals.
What we do
SaaScada Platform
The cloud-native platform of open APIs is designed to rapidly launch and scale new services in as little as 12 weeks. The platform enables new entrants to launch banking services, existing financial service providers to cut the cost of running a bank, enterprises to build embedded finance solutions and wealth managers to broaden their offering. SaaScada uses cloud-native software architecture and infrastructure to deliver a flexible yet highly scalable ledger system, a refreshingly simple product management approach and plug and play integration frameworks.
Ledger
At the heart of SaaScada’s core banking engine is the SaaScada Transaction Processor (TRX or T-Rex for short). The T-Rex was built for maximum throughput using the scale benefits of a noSQL database and the precision/traceability of event sourcing architecture. Optimised for write operations and decision logic, the T-Rex publishes events for consumption by SaaScada’s read only data projections which provide the query side of our ledger system. This architecture, known as Command Query Responsibility Segregation represents an industry-first in core banking ledger technology and is the key to unlocking real-time data insights.
This approach enables a variety of capabilities to be built into a single customer account. SaaScada’s core uses command query responsibility segregation (CQRS) and event sourcing to provide scalable, secure and consistent transaction throughput whilst exposing a rich data stream to a variety of consumers, and the dedicated identity and authorisation services simplify integration with your preferred identity provider.
Product Management
Unlike many core banking systems, SaaScada does not offer a suite of product bolt-ons or costly optional modules. The universal Product API provides access to a full spectrum of financial product-related features, complemented by a crystal clear, per account per month pricing model. Configure a wide range of products using templates inside the SaaScada Portal or go direct to the Product API and create your own innovations. Product Configuration can be completed in less than 3 minutes and publishing new versions of products is even faster.
Integration Frameworks
SaaScada’s integration frameworks connect external transactions into SaaScada’s ledger allowing institutions to offer a broad range of functionality within a single account. Each wallet within a SaaScada account can be connected to one or more card identifiers or banking addresses. Transaction flow can then be manipulated through a configurable set of routing rules and transactional fee structures maintained internally within the core banking engine. Agency Banking/Payments, Credit and Debit Card integration and storage of any fiat or non-fiat currency can be simply managed through SaaScada’s Integration Framework.
