Overview

In 1992 a project was commissioned by the London Stock Exchange to examine the relative strengths of key players within the Wealth Management Industry. From this cornerstone, the ComPeer Benchmarking Service was born and developed by our two founders, Richard Bethell and Mike Carroll.

Since then the ComPeer Benchmarking Service has been consistently modernised and updated to provide business critical management information specifically for private client stockbrokers, wealth managers and private banks.

During each subsequent year, annual, quarterly and monthly surveys have been initiated and completed with the full co-operation of the private client investment community and the firm support of its trade association, the WMA.

This unrivalled experience has given ComPeer an unique insight into the wealth management industry and enhanced our ability to provide a strategic view of a client's competitive position and level of success of their business strategies.

In 2004, Parkwell Management Consultants acquired a majority stake in ComPeer, adding to the tools and resources available to our clients and helping to spread our integrated range of information services right across the Wealth Management industry. In the period since, we have introduced High Net Worth Investor Research, IFA Research, Competitor Profiles, Financial DIY Report and now the Compliance Survey.
