Biography

Mina Sahib is an Associate Analyst at Celent, with a career of over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry in North America and the MENA region. She has consulting and senior management experience across the insurance value chain; distribution, bancassurance, operations, customer experience, claims and underwriting support in Health, Motor, Property & Casualty lines of business. She has worked directly and indirectly with insurers, aggregators, regulators, industry associations, brokers and insurech’s in Singapore, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.

With a deep understanding of the regional market of MENA, her areas of expertise are in general management, digital transformation, operational and customer excellence. She has also previouslyworked with global and regional insurance solution providers to help develop and launch their products to the MENA market.

On digital transformation, she has led and/or participated in the evaluation and implementations of; CRM systems, Core Systems, Distribution platforms, chatbots, DMS (paperless project), RPA, OCR and AI tools, web and mobile journeys, claims management systems, call center and customer engagement solutions. On Operational excellence, she has led and managed initiatives to analyse the ‘As is’ state of organizations or department then recommend or support on implementation of changes to improve governance, costs, automations, performance and compliance.

Mina is also the Founder of the Women's Insurance Network - MENA, a UAE based initiative she started in 2020 to provide a space for female insurance professionals in the MENA region to network and grow personally and professionally. She has a B.A in Political Science from York University in Toronto, Canada, a mini-MBA in Digital Insurance from the TDI Academy, an award in General Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute and is PMP Certified from the Project Management Institute.

She is bi-lingual (Arabic and English).
