Ruslan Babikov
Biography
Ruslan is a Senior Analyst based in Tokyo, specializing in Corporate Banking and Capital Markets. With over 16 years of experience in the financial industry, he has held various roles at HSBC, where he focused on global markets technology, eFX and precious metals distribution, transactional services, corporate sales, and front-office business management. Ruslan was key in expanding eFX solutions in Japan and spearheaded several large cross-border payment initiatives in the region.
Before his time at HSBC, Ruslan worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he supported the FX and fixed Income franchise. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in these areas.
Ruslan holds an MBA from Waseda University in Tokyo and is also a qualified JSDA Class 1 Sales Representative. He is fluent in English, Japanese, and Russian.
With his extensive background in the financial industry and regional experience, Ruslan brings a unique perspective and valuable insights to his role as a Senior Analyst in the Asia Pacific region.
