Meeting consumers' expectations when engaging with them digitally requires a deep understanding of what is important to them.

Key research questions

  • What is the average Scandinavian customer’s expectation in terms of user experience?
  • Do Scandinavian consumers and insurers have the same view on the use of social network data in insurance?
  • What are Scandinavian insurers’ main drivers to invest in smart technologies?

Abstract

Collecting consumer data in various ways and using machine-driven interaction tools to interact with consumers and customers have been a hot topic in insurance recently.

But are Scandinavian insurers willing to use personal data from consumers and leverage smart technologies? What about Scandinavian consumers? Are they ready, and more importantly willing, to collaborate with insurers?
