Trends in Client Feedback 2016-2020


Celent highlights wealth managers’ perspectives about their usage of Front-to-Middle Office platforms. Specifically, wealth managers’ perspectives on vendors’ features/functions, ease of integration, IT vendors’ implementation capabilities and professional services, configuration capabilities based on specific scenarios, and business staff involvement in system changes. Throughout the report, Celent provides its insight into changes over time. The last section of the report provides our recommendations for IT vendors and wealth managers.

This report is a supplement to Celent’s 2020 report: Front-to-Middle Office Platforms: EMEA Wealth Management Edition: 2020 XCelent Awards: Powered by VendorMatch. To provide a time series view on trends, Celent compares the 2020 results with prior survey data from the 2016 report: European Wealth Management Technology Vendors: Evaluating Front Office Platform Vendors.

Overall, all areas have improved from 2016 to 2020. Note: Survey questions around Integration/APIs were not included in the 2016 survey.
