The Pandemic Impact on EMEA and APAC Insurance Business and IT Plans: Life & Health Edition
13 April 2020
Nicolas Michellod
Abstract
The COVID-19 outbreak has had an impact on many countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). In many countries, an isolation period has been imposed that could have a major impact on their economies. To better understand what the initial reaction of insurers is in the Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions, we have run a short survey:
- To understand the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the major business goals initially identified in our annual CIO survey.
- To evaluate the potential impact on insurers’ 2020 IT budgets.
- To figure out whether insurers’ application portfolio plans remain the same.
This report provides the result of this survey for life and health insurance companies.
