In Light of a Challenging ROI


Can I get to a positive ROI and is the investment going to be worth it if I can't? This is a fundamental question to answer before investing in a large-scale back-office transformation project. The challenge is defining "worth it". The answer would almost always be a firm no, based on tangible benefits.

To move the needle to "yes" Celent looked at the intangibles, through interviews with key decision-makers in insurers that have completed, or started, transformations. The insights and comments are wonderful and should help readers with their own decisions. The companies ranged from the largest to more modest and were in varying stages of the transformation, including live with their future state.
