Key Features

  • Policy - Supports the policy lifecycle from start to finish. Intuitive workflows and support for e-signature enable efficient, paperless processing of new applications. Pre-built integrations for data prefill and risk data reduce manual entry. Optional straight-through-processing (STP) enables policies within certain thresholds to be processed without underwriting intervention. The system provides a single view of the insured’s account across all lines of business. Policy changes (including complex out-of-sequence endorsements) can be accomplished with a few clicks of a mouse. All associated documents and forms are maintained by BriteCore’s built-in document management.
  • Claims - Enables an FNOL to be filed by a policyholder, agent, or adjuster via their respective portals. The system verifies coverage automatically and pre-populates new claim records with policy and contact information. Claims can be filed against policies or specific coverages. The system supports subrogation billing and identification of claims subject to reinsurance. BriteCore provides for granular tracking of reserves, expenses, and payments and supports notes, diaries and reminders.
  • Billing - Supports flexible and configurable payment methods and schedules for each policy, and includes commission calculation and payment. The system includes rules and automated workflows that support a range of billing practices, including direct, account, and third-party bill. BriteCore supports electronic bill presentment and auto-pay, and can accept payments in cash, check, money order, credit card, or ACH.
  • Product Configuration and Rating - Supports a range of personal, commercial, and specialty P&C products — including state-specific requirements — that have been widely deployed across the US. The system provides tools for rate table design and updates and associated templates in an application and forms library. It includes support for ISO rates and rules. Product updates are reflected immediately across the platform and the system maintains an audit trail of product and rate changes.
  • Reporting & Analytics - Includes persona-based executive dashboards, advanced analytics, and reporting. Executives, line-of-business leaders (underwriting, claims, billing), and agents can immediately access pre-configured dashboards, tap a library of standard reports, and create custom views and reports to identify and act on new business opportunities for growth or cost savings. Built for configurability and rapid, real-time execution, BriteCore leverages modern in-memory database, machine learning, and data visualization technologies.
  • Agent Portal - Provides a convenient, web-based interface for generating quotes and immediately binding new business — while enforcing your company’s underwriting standards automatically. The portal provides 24/7 web-based access to insured policy, billing, and claims information and documents, and it supports document upload and download. Live Chat integration enables easier collaboration between agents and company staff.
  • Policyholder Portal - Provides customers with ready access to their policies via browser or mobile app so they can easily review policy details, update account information, update their billing schedules, and pay bills (including autopay enrollment). The portal supports e-delivery (paperless delivery) of documents, and enables policyholders to download declarations and invoices. Policyholders can also submit new claims, including photos and videos.
  • APIs / Prebuilt Integrations - Prebuilt integrations enable insurers to tap common capabilities from partners immediately and save time and money that would otherwise be spent on building and maintaining integrations. BriteCore’s published API ensures that systems that need to integrate with the platform can easily do so. This combination of prebuilt integrations and published APIs gives insurers tremendous flexibility with support for new capabilities and emerging technologies.
