Mambu provides a pure Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) core banking platform that is hosted solely in the cloud across all three of the major players: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Mambu’s cloud-based banking software is designed to help financial institutions manage, monitor & control financial transactions on a unified platform. The platform offers its clients a composable banking solution, which allows them to build, configure & deploy banking products & financial services based on customers' requirements. It enables banks to create & launch lending or deposit portfolios, handle transaction processing & store customer, account & transaction data in a centralised repository.

Key Features

The Mambu Core Banking Engine is our singular core product that has both a lending and deposits engines. This system is the core ledger that supports customers, accounts and product configurations.

Product factory
Customers can create new products in minutes using the Mambu Product Factory, which consists of the lending and deposit configuration engines. Mambu customers use these engines to create new products using pre-defined parameters. To-date, our customers have successfully configured around 30,000 products within Mambu. The product factory for the majority of product configuration does not require coding/development. Available features can be enabled through configuration via GUI and/or API. For more information, please see

Mambu is a true SaaS platform, in which all customers use the same version of the system and can take advantage of new product features as soon as they are released. Over time, Mambu adds new functionality to the system, and we always aim to do this in a way that does not break or interfere in any way with existing customer implementations. One of our core product principles is customisation via configuration. Instead of creating bespoke versions of the system for individual customers, we provide powerful configuration mechanisms to allow clients to configure the solution to work for their business products after implementation. Clients can achieve this via our UI or APIs using the Mambu Product Factory. This comprises the product configuration engines—lending engine and deposit engine—that Mambu customers use to create new products using pre-defined parameters.

Composable architecture
Mambu-based solutions are based around a composable, API-driven architecture. This composable approach advocates a collaborative banking solution ecosystem, created from a collection of loosely coupled software components, in which our customers can combine multiple best-for-purpose software solutions. Mambu as a core banking engine is partner or vendor-agnostic and can integrate with different partners through its open APIs. We have an ecosystem of partners covering the full range of banking integrations including origination and onboarding, credit decisioning, financial crime, CRM and payment processing. Please see our Partner Marketplace for more information:
