AMSTERDAM, March 31, 2016 – Screen INFOmatch will open its first office in Asia tomorrow, April 1, in Singapore. Screen Asia will provide local support for both the INFOmatch product and Screen’s consulting arm, Screen Consultants, and follows an active sales period for Screen INFOmatch that has seen it add clients in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Singapore.

As a result of this, Screen deemed it necessary to support those clients in their local time zones, and in some cases, their native language. The opening of Screen Asia will demonstrate to the market that “We continue to be very committed to help our clients with excellent market data management software solutions, outstanding support and unique industry know-how,” officials say.

“The majority of our clients in this region are in Singapore. But we do have clients in Tokyo and in Hong Kong. The time difference between Singapore and Tokyo is just one hour, so it’s is pretty well positioned as the starting point for an overseas office,” says Peter Fruitema, managing director of Screen INFOmatch. “We have a growing customer base in the region, and the importance of the customers has increased. At this point in time, we have to make sure we have local support during their own business hours.”

The new office will be led by Jorn van der Bruggen, branch manager for Screen Asia, who will be responsible for account management and ensuring that local support is arranged for clients, and will also assist in securing new business in the region alongside the Screen’s Dubai-based business development manager.
