Charles River Development Achieves ISO 27001 Security Certification Companywide
16 January 2017
Charles River Development has received the International Standard Organization (ISO) 27001 security certification across all its products, services, offices and operations globally. The company previously received certification for its cloud-based Application Management, Compliance Advisory Services, and Charles River FIX Network in 2015. This latest ISO certification confirms that all Charles River departments, including Software Development, Implementation and SaaS Operations, meet international security standards for data and systems protection.
“We understand the importance and level of commitment asset managers’ place on building and keeping clients’ trust,” said Peter K. Lambertus, President and CEO, Charles River. “As regulations to protect consumers increase, and cyberattacks become more sophisticated, asset managers face growing complexity in keeping sensitive client information secure. ISO certification ensures Charles River and its products and services meet the highest standards for protecting client information.”
To achieve ISO 27001 certification, Charles River underwent a rigorous assessment of its information security management systems, including policies, procedures, risk management and operating controls. This included formal independent audits of Charles River offices across North America, EMEA and APAC.
ISO certification validates Charles River’s ability to:
- Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of client data
- Ensure ongoing protection through regular audits and monitoring
- Deliver continuous process improvement
- Provide ongoing security across all operations
