Overview

About the company

eflow is a market-leading provider of regulatory software and workflow solutions based in the UK. Working primarily in financial services, eflow has consistently supplied its clients with powerful, intuitive and comprehensive solutions since its foundation in 2004.

In the 15 years since the company was founded, eflow has developed a range of enterprise application workflow solutions: these solutions include, but are not limited to, compliance, straight-through processing, and enterprise workflow backbones.

Core technology

All of eflow's solutions are built using the same core technology - PATH. PATH (or Peer Application Transaction Hub) is a patented workflow hub which serves as the foundation for all solutions that eflow provides. Since the company was founded and eflow obtained the intellectual property rights to PATH, it has remained the only commercially available, purpose-built workflow architecture software available to financial services. It combines all the best facets of middleware, workflow, business decision rules, data aggregation, and case management. The toolkits contained within PATH allow for total change management in a single, comprehensive package.

Products and services

With the help of PATH, eflow was able to develop TZ - a powerful trade surveillance platform which can ingest and analyse millions of transactions per day. The alerts and reports the TZ software generates are essential for firms aiming to improve their compliance strategy. First launched in 2007 in partnership with Thomson Reuters, TZ's capabilities have only grown with time. Since MiFID II was implemented in January 2018, TZ has further proven its ability to effectively manage an ever-evolving set of transaction reporting, market abuse, transaction cost analysis and best execution requirements. TZ also offers a uniquely bespoke approach to compliance: all tests run in TZ can be customised specifically to fit the needs of the client.

Today, eflow partners with Dow Jones and UnaVista. These partnerships help to ensure that the market data used in TZ is kept constantly up to date.

Our Mission

eflow prides itself on its business focus. Its solutions remove the mundane repetitive work involved in compliance and operational workflow management which so often occupy talented personnel.
