A couple a weeks ago my colleague, Tom Scales and I ran a workshop for insurers and other incumbents of the industry of the Latin American region. Participants came from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Peru, just to mention a few countries; and they shared their experience and the challenges that the insurance industry is facing.

Conversations went from the digital era, the Internet of Things, wearables, to the generational change, including the sometimes stigmatized millennials. Overall, these professionals of the insurance industry are aware of the ever-changing context and the companies they’re working for are, in some cases, taking action to stay tuned with the profile of the consumer of the future.
