The State Bank of India merged its technology, operations, branches, staff, and processes with that of its five associate banks and Bhartiya Mahila Bank. This is the largest known merger integration in the world based on a number of employees, customers, and branches. The six mergers were completed during an eight-week period with little or no disruption to systems or customer engagement, and led to permanent improvements in organizational and cost efficiency.
