If you felt a strong wind on Thursday accompanied by a loud sigh, that deep exhale was because Insurtech Connect 2019 has ended. At was a whirlwind two days as more than 7000 attendees were there this year. If the composition was like last year, I’m guessing that more than 4,000 were senior executives of insurers looking for new ideas.
Insurtech Connect has become THE conference for the insurance industry. A place to learn about what your peers are doing; a place to meet extremely creative startups with transformative ideas; and a place to talk to each other. But with so many attendees and so many sessions, it can be hard to step back and see the trends that came out from the show.
