//Executive RoundTable: Reinventing Distribution; November 2018

Celent regularly conducts Executive Roundtables for C level executives at insurers in North America. These events are vendor free and led by the insurers. They provide a forum for discussion on topics of interest for both large and small insurers across both life and property casualty. These slides and agenda are from the November 2018 session. The high level abstract for this roundtable is below:

With the explosion of new technologies, and the continual media hype of the potential of these new tools, do you wonder if these claims are exaggerated or if your peers are actually getting results? Are you thinking of investing in one of these new techniques or wondering what others in the industry are doing? Join Celent and your peers for a private, vendor-free discussion about how to think about the business case for using new technologies and the challenges and potential results others like you are achieving.Whether you’ve got initiatives in place or are just curious about what’s happening, this roundtable will stimulate ideas and raise common challenges.

In this roundtable, we’ll examine new technologies in areas such as big data, robotics, block chain and chatbots and learn how they are (or are not) driving results , anddiscuss the challenges and issues carriers face as they look to move on these new areas of potential value.

In addition to Celent, speakers from the carrier community will discuss industry trends and tell their stories. A leading venture, Jonathan Kalman from Eos Venture Partners, will give insurers insights on how to vet new technologies. You and your peers will provide the real life experiences in an informal setting where networking will be easy and comfortable. Join us as we take a walk in our customer’s shoes.
