Who will win?
Celent's Donald Light examines the implications of the rapidly evolving connected car data ecosystems. For years, cars have generated a lot of data. Individual insurers have tapped into a relatively small subset of that data via telematics and UBI programs. Now many players-manufacturers, dealers, merchants, and others-are getting into the act-accessing more types of data, from contributory data exchanges.
