Model Wealth Manager Award Winner for Products and Platforms

Abstract

BBVA won the model wealth manager award under the category of products and platforms. The incorporation of digital assets into BBVAs Switzerland’s banking offering was a major strategic milestone for BBVA. Offering clients a seamless experience that integrates traditional asset classes with crypto meant a heavy investment in a scalable technology infrastructure and the custody/clearing services that enable crypto trading. It also called for a very deep and transparent collaboration with local banking regulators, as well as a clear communication strategy aimed at educating the client base.
