Abstract

Celent recognizes India Trade Connect as the 2018 Model Bank: Trade Finance & Supply Chain for their India Trade Connect initiative.

Seven Indian banks teamed with Infosys Finacle to launch a blockchain-based domestic trade finance platform, India Trade Connect. Their focus is on three core processes: validate ownership, certify documents, and make payments. This network enables automation and transparency and improves risk mitigation in domestic trade and supply chain finance operations.
