Insurers are choosing other approaches to technology modernization than just going with the traditional industrial approach where you build a new insurance system or buy a new platform. Building a new greenfield operation, an insurer, on a fresh stack with new architecture (modular, cloud, microservices, etc.) makes sense in certain situations. This is the case of this de-novo insurer created with an insurtech approach. The design and build of this insurer is discussed in detail.
