BI-SAM, a leading provider of performance measurement and attribution, risk analytics, composites management and client reporting solutions for the global asset management industry, today announced its B-One platform has been chosen as the “Best Performance Measurement and Attribution Solution” at the Financial Technology Forum LLC (FTF) Technology Innovation Awards 2014. The awards ceremony will take place on June 16thin New York.

The FTF Technology Innovation Awards 2014 celebrate and recognize the professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry bodies and regulators that have made significant strides and noteworthy achievements in operational excellence during 2013. The awards are managed via an online voting process where nominated entities were unable to vote for themselves. The nominating and voting processes were overseen by a panel comprised of influential members of the buy-side industry.

The full list of winners is available on the award’s webpage.

The award for “Best Performance Measurement and Attribution System” focuses on the solution that offers exemplary calculation of returns for portfolios (benchmarks and composites); calculation of attribution effects for equity and fixed-income portfolios; and calculation of ex-post risk, absolute and relative.

“BI-SAM encapsulates the ethos of the FTF News awards with its ongoing commitment to technology innovation, and its award for Best Performance Measurement and Attribution System is extremely well-deserved,” commented Maureen Lowe, Founder and President, FTF and FTF News. “In winning this year’s award, BI-SAM has gained justifiable recognition from industry participants for the enhanced functional richness of its B-One platform, which provides users with a valuable array of tools and product capabilities to help them achieve a competitive advantage in today’s demanding business environment.”

“We are delighted to receive the award for Best Performance Measurement and Attribution System. Winning this award for the first time demonstrates BI-SAM’S dedication to improving our B-One platform. Each year we devote significant investment and effort to creating innovative and, most importantly, useful technology developments that build on B-One’s industry-leading capabilities,” said Alexandre Harkous, CEO of BI-SAM. “By maintaining our focus on the issues that matter most to asset management performance teams, we strive to provide users with the exceptional technology and service they need to support their current and future business objectives.”
