Innova Learning Expands Course Design Techniques New York –Apr 2014
Innova Learning today announced that it has expanded its course design to include “white-boarding” and “paper folding” techniques. In response to customer demand, Innova has designed courses using these engaging methods to deliver simple, single focused topics.
Since coming to the market in 2007, Innova has continually pushed the edge in online course development by using design elements and formatting techniques to capture and retain the learner’s attention. “White-boarding” as it’s called in the industry is merely hand motion writing/sketching of a concept whereby the learner watches the information unfold as it appears on the whiteboard. “Paper folding” technique is as the name implies, paper is folded and animation is added to communicate the subject matter. These new design techniques grab the learner’s attention and holds it long enough to fully impart the knowledge intended. “Capturing the learner’s attention to ensure that knowledge transfer has occurred is a primary goal at Innova. We continue to explore ways of educating learners in the most engaging and cost effective ways for our customers,” said Michael Farmer, CEO of Innova Learning.
Innova has already secured customer contracts to deliver online courses using these techniques and plans to introduce these concepts in some of its off the shelf modules as well.
