Charles River, an enterprise-wide, front- and middle-office investment management solution provider, today announced that SCB Asset Management Company Limited (SCBAM) is live on the Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS) for automated portfolio management, execution management, and compliance monitoring. SCBAM is also using Charles River’s broker-neutral FIX Network and administration for electronic trading. SCBAM users are leveraging Charles River IMS across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives. Charles River IMS has been instrumental in supporting SCBAM’s rapid business growth, while enabling the firm to effectively handle increasingly complicated regulatory and compliance requirements due to its expansion. “Charles River IMS has significantly improved our front-office operations, thereby increasing productivity and allowing our fund managers and traders to focus more on core competencies of investment idea generation,” said Sornchai Suneta, Chief Investment Office, SCB Asset Management. “As we continue to grow our business, the scalability of Charles River IMS gives us confidence that we can seamlessly manage an expansion into new asset classes in the future.” “Charles River has extensive experience working with clients in Thailand, giving clients like SCBAM full confidence in the support for both local Thai requirements and global securities,” said Cameron Field, Managing Director-APAC, Charles River. “The integration of Charles River IMS and the Charles River FIX Network delivers increased trading efficiency and reliability for the competitive edge in both domestic and international markets.”
