With super funds looking to improve transparency and customer experience, GBST has today announced a new user-focused offering for corporate super providers.

The launch comes at a time when the sector is looking for ways to evolve their offerings in light of the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services.

The enhanced corporate super offering allows funds to offer a user-focused experience, with a modern, intuitive interface to meet employer and member needs.

It features straight-through processing (STP) capability so employers can easily manage their accounts and access their employee’s information online, improving user engagement and reducing administration costs for the fund provider.

This is an enhancement to GBST’s Composer platform, which supports over 2 million accounts in Australia.

Clients already using the Composer platform will now be able to add this new capability to their existing offering with the same seamless administration process.

Robert DeDominicis, GBST’s Chief Executive Officer, commented:

“Our sector is really under pressure on a number of fronts at the moment and we have been working tirelessly with a number of funds looking to further evolve the current engagement model with their clients. These providers need a platform that enables them to deliver a transparent product with the best possible user experience, built on an efficient back-end that reduces their cost to serve,” he said.

“We are excited to launch our enhanced corporate super proposition at such a turning point for our sector. We’ve invested in not only our own digital interface but also in enabling clients to integrate their own user experience with our Composer platform. We are already working with a leading Australian fund to deploy this new solution and anticipate a lot more interest from other providers that want to stay competitive in the new world of super.”

GBST’s new corporate super offering includes the following features:

  • Strong focus on STP including adviser and member account creation, maintenance and transacting
  • Seamless integration for ATO SuperStream messaging
  • Ability to choose from numerous investment options, including Lifestage investment options
  • Flexible insurance options
  • Suitable for funds with a range of employers from small to large
