“Forward-thinking carriers are now also building a variety of digital integrations to communicate in real time with agents,” said Rob Norris, author of the report and a senior analyst within Celent’s North American property/casualty practice.
The survey found that 50 percent of carriers are using e-mail and text alerts to complement their web portals, enabling more timely delivery of critical information to agents. Of the carriers that have not deployed this capability, most indicated that are planning to do so.
