Abstract

Snap polls reflect questions posed by members of the Celent Executive Panel, a group of C level executives in the insurance industry. This insurer was looking for insights on how other insurers are handling innovation and the kinds of work innovation teams are expected to perform.

This deck provides a summary of the responses to a snap poll conducted November 16– December 4, 2023.Questions for a snap poll come from one of the other members of the panel. The snap poll was fielded to select members of the Celent Executive Panel, a group of C level executives in the insurance industry. 34 Insurers responded to this survey.

- Do you offer e-delivery of any of the following:

  • Policy documents
  • Marketing materials
  • Billing information
  • Other correspondence

- Do you offer this via secure email, or do you provide a link to access documents via the portal?

- If you provide a link, can you provide it through SMS as well as email?

- If you offer edelivery, do you offer on an opt-in or opt-out basis?

- For what LOBs do you offer e-delivery?

- What is the take-up rate on e-delivery?

- Do you see a difference in take-up rate by LOB? By age of consumer?

- Do you offer e-signature?
