"Examinations Taking Flight" is the theme for the 2015 Society of Financial Examiners' annual Career Development Seminar, to be held at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center in sensational San Diego. Rimmed with seventy miles of beaches, San Diego is known for having the country's best weather all year round.

Among the many area attractions are the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Balboa Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, and the world-famous USS Midway, site of the 2015 CDS Monday Night Social.

Learning Objectives

Through lectures, roundtable discussions and interactive formats, participants in the Society of Financial Examiners' 2015 Career Development Seminar will learn of the latest developments, current issues and new solutions in the areas of regulation of insurance companies. Topics will include the risk focused examination procedures, IT development, latest NAIC activities, and legislative, auditing and current challenges facing the industry. Following the conference, an optional IT session (offered at a separate fee) will take place from noon July 16th to noon July 17th.
