US trade tariffs policies first announced and at least partially implemented at the start of April have had a seismic impact on both US and global economic outlook. While tariff policies themself are subject to a high degree of uncertainty as negotiations between US and countries occurs, it has, regardless of final outcomes, had a real economic impact, given the uncertainty it has introduced to global supply chains as well as business and consumer confidence. This forecast incorporates adjustments to 2025 spending based on situation in July 2025. While this is still subject to change, it assesses impact of tariffs on spending forecasts from Q1 2025 against Q2 2025 outlook.
