Abstract

Celent regularly conducts Executive Roundtables for C level executives at insurers in North America. These events are vendor free and led by the insurers. They provide a forum for discussion on topics of interest for both large and small insurers across both life and property casualty. These slides and agenda are from the February 2020 session. The high level abstract for this roundtable is below:

When we talk about innovation, we usually focus on the cool things that are happening in the industry. But there are some more mundane topics that are innovative - and create operating efficiencies while reducing costs. This executive roundtable focused on areas such as moving to the cloud, lessons learned from core system replacement, To BPO or not To BPO, and creating data strategies to drive efficiencies.
