Robust levels of organic growth demanded a new approach to business assurance (compliance) at St. James’s Place, a wealth manager serving individuals, companies and trusts in the UK and abroad. The volume and complexity of pension transfer review cases had resulted in increasing turnover times (two to four hours on average), with implications for client and advisor satisfaction. Conversion of a highly manual, multi-system compliance workflow into a straight-through process delivering consistent recommendations and actionable insights was the solution.
