Abstract

The UK motor insurance market is a highly competitive market that relies heavily on comparison pricing sites to generate new customers. Insurers in this market need access to every potential quote in a highly efficient way. Markerstudy's Hosted Rating System (MHR) improves the insurer's ability to compete in this market. It was brought to market quickly, uses enriched data to make quotes, and takes advantage of an expansive use of analytics to understand trends and change pricing quickly.

In addition to the technology, Markerstudy is also being awarded a Model Insurer award for their ability to transform the company’s IT department into a 21st century agile, DevSecOps function and convert the company into a “cloud first” technology architecture, which was a huge change in their mindset and capabilities.
