Abstract

A review and ranking of vendor provided core claims systems actively being used by non-life insurers in EMEA is presented in this report. Celent’s ABCD Vendor View is used to evaluate and rank vendors in four dimensions: Advanced technology, Breadth of Functionality, Customer base, and Depth of client services. An XCelent winner is chosen for each of the dimensions.

This report presents Celent's survey and evaluation of core claims systems offered to non-life insurers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Seventeen vendors are presented in the profiles in this report.

Core claims systems gather and process information regarding the underlying policy and coverages, the claim, and the claimant; evaluate and analyze the circumstances of the claim; make decisions and take actions including payment; and execute transactions and preserve a record.

The winners of Celent’s XCelent awards are announced in the report.
