GenAI Around the World in Wealth Management
Results from the Celent Dimensions Survey 2024
Abstract
Generative AI adoption in wealth management is progressing quickly. From AI assistants for advisors to generating marketing content to developing code, GenAI is making employees and financial advisors more efficient and productive.
This report, GenAI Around the World in Wealth Management, presents insights on how wealth management firms around the globe are adopting generative AI technology. We share adoption rates in different regions and countries for those who are live in production, piloting/in proof of concept, and experimenting/exploring use cases with generative AI. We also show the most common use cases that firms are leveraging GenAI for.
The findings are based on results from the Celent Dimensions Survey 2024, which asked 204 wealth management executives about their IT spending strategies and how they are approaching new technologies like generative AI. Celent published six wealth management reports covering the Dimensions survey: one global study and five regional reports. Here we feature the GenAI-related pages directly from those six studies and pull them into one report.
Now that 2025 is here, we want to summarize GenAI adoption in 2024 before focusing on what this new year will hold. Celent’s 2025 Dimensions survey is currently in the field, so we will be able to compare progress across regions from year to year.
