Abstract

Celent surveyed numerous vendors that provide RPA platforms and/or services to see how RPA is advancing with focus on areas such as process intelligence tools used to both analyze data and visualize processes for identifying process automation opportunities; prebuilt bots to accelerate development for insurance carriers; the application of cognitive technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural processing language; along with other expected advances for RPA.

For those that have not embarked on their RPA journey, we also asked survey participants to provide recommendations on how and where to start, providing very interesting insight for those considering RPA. Lastly, we tap into the future of RPA over the next two to three years in areas such as RPA as a service (RaaS), intelligent process automation, open source RPA, robosourcing, and areas where participating vendors see the growth in RPA. I am sure you will be interested in the results.
