Abstract

Each year, Celent conducts a survey of insurer CIOs around the world, including Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and North America. The most recent CIO survey was conducted globally between December 2020 and February 2021 and received responses from CIOs, CTOs, or architects of insurance companies (general, life or health, and property/casualty) in every region of the world. The participating insurers are considered to be a fair reflection of the market composition in terms of business size.

Based on the results of the latest CIO Survey, three comparison reports have been produced:

  • Japan versus APAC
  • Japan versus NA
  • Japan versus EMEA

The reports are based upon a survey completed by insurers covering a wide range of topics, including the following:

  • Business Outlook
  • IT Investment Priorities: Application Portfolio Plans
  • Cloud Adoption
  • Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence
  • Cybersecurity
