Celent Model Risk Manager of the Year 2022

Abstract

DBS Bank reimagined their corporate credit risk management by building a one-stop solution for corporate credit processes, from origination to financial analysis and approvals.

The new, microservices-based platform digitizes workflow, yielding productivity gains, stronger and timelier risk management, and simplified processes. The initiative was jumpstarted by split-shift requirements under COVID-19 but actualizes a longstanding ambition to digitize the credit risk process. The corporate credit platform houses key data and leverages data science, NLP and NLG, AI, machine learning and APIs to generate enhanced insights into credit assessment of corporate clients.
