Abstract

In today’s interconnected world, both consumers and businesses expect seamless banking experiences that deliver instantaneous results within the digital experiences they use every day. As a result, PNC saw an opportunity to leverage embedded financial concepts to deliver contextual banking services directly into clients’ platforms, including their enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and treasury management systems (TMS). As a result, the bank launched PINACLE ConnectSM, enabling clients to initiate and manage payments, view transactions and balances, and simplify account reconciliation.

PINACLE Connect provides easy-to-implement ERP and treasury management system connectors that streamline onboarding and enable clients to leverage banking services inside the platforms they use daily to run their businesses. Other banks have leveraged third party providers to deliver ERP connectivity to business clients; PNC stands out with its unwavering focus on program management, implementation excellence, and the degree to which the bank provides data sharing transparency and control to its clients, making it a worthy recipient of Celent's Model Bank 2023 Award for Embedded Banking.
