This research will provide an overview of the insurance market and technology trends in Australia and New Zealand. We will provide examples of insurers, case studies, incumbent vendors, and insurtechs from this region. In previous editions of the Insurtech in Asia series, we have covered Greater China, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

Australia and New Zealand are part of the Oceania and the Asia-Pacific region. The insurance technology trends observed contain nuances unique to both countries, with consideration for specialized solutions and local knowledge. Talent and insurtechs are mostly home-grown, and are developing solutions to improve the insurance value chain, with support from regulations to overcome local challenges.
