Abstract

While some wealth managers state that a lack of customer digital adoption is a reason for low engagement during the pandemic, the reality is that a hybrid approach of digital and in-person service models is required going forward.[1] Wealth management firms are looking for planning software that can evolve with their digital client engagement strategy. This means access to sophisticated planning scenarios delivered digitally with a focus on improving client engagement.

Wealth manager’s face a challenge of working to educate clients on their offerings while employing DIY aspects to decrease the time required with an advisor or staff. Planning has evolved from advisor-led vs advisor-facing into co-create, co-design, and co-develop over the past five years.

Celent connected virtually with Voyant’s Chief Executive, David Kaufman, for a briefing on “The Game” and “SnapShot” to better understand how Voyant is meeting the accelerating need for digital engagement with financial planning.

Underlying both “The Game” and “SnapShot” are Voyant’s APIs, called “Built With Blocks.” “The Game” functions as an onboarding tool that enables the consumer to self-direct planning stages such as goal setting and data gathering. To check on a plan’s health, “SnapShot” works as a client portal for daily engagement between the customer, their plan, and their wealth management firm.
