Abstract

This two-part report examines the capital markets of Asia-Pacific and Japan through the lens of market data. It analyzes market trends and explores areas that proffer innovation opportunities, concluding with strategies to better harness these trends and opportunities.

Part 2 lays out scenarios for securing success in growth markets and puts forth strategies to achieve it. In particular, this report focuses on the use of market data by top-tier players (buy side, sell side, and technology vendors) seeking to benefit from trading lifecycle optimization (TLO).

“The key to how well top-tier players are able to continue to prosper in the growing and mature markets of Asia-Pacific and Japan will be trading lifecycle optimization,” says Eiichiro Yanagawa, a senior analyst with Celent’s Asian Financial Services practice and author of the report.

The degree of cross-border M&A activity can serve as a good barometer when considering whether to pursue global business initiatives. The last section of this report will address basic strategies for achieving global business innovation.

This 20-page report contains 6 figures and 7 tables.
