The Bank of International Settlements (BIS) just published a paper in its quarterly review which focused on the potential of central bank cryptocurrencies.

This has been an area of on-going interest for our research as we continue to provide an overview of how DLT/Blockchain can be integrated into the fiat currency system and how new forms of distributed payments systems are emerging away from traditional finance.
