Ensuring the continuity of service and robustness of financial ecosystems is an increasing concern to governments and regulators globally. While the European Union’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) regulation is still subject to further clarification in parts, it is expected to have significant implications for financial institutions and technology providers working for them.

The objective of this report is:

• to help financial institutions understand the DORA regulation and socialize internally how their IT department can support their organisation’s preparation efforts.
• to provide a heads-up to technology providers supporting financial institutions and help them figure out how they can seize opportunities derived from the DORA regulation.
