Luis is an Associate Analyst with Celent and a former Chief Information Officer (CIO) specializing in IT/business strategy, innovation, and governance in the insurance industry. He is responsible for delivering consultancy and Celent's Executive Coaching program aimed at IT proffesionals such as CIOs and high potential individuals in the IT department.

Relevant experience

• Technology Roadmap: Designed 10-year transformational roadmap for 9 countries, passing from a very fragmented use of applications with 400+ applications across the region to less than 150 while replacing obsolete legacy systems and leveraging small operations access to world class solutions.
• New B2C Direct Sales Channel: Conceived, launched and led a project with a USD 21MM budget to establish a B2C channel to generate USD 95 MM sales over 6 years.
• M+A Technology Integration: Successfully led mergers and acquisitions as both the seller and the buyer. Used strategic vision and expertise in technology integration to navigate complex transactions and ensure seamless consolidation of IT systems, processes, and teams. Mitigated risks, identified synergies, and drove synergistic growth. Facilitated a smooth transition, enabling organizations to capitalize on new opportunities and realize maximum value from the M&A process.
• IT Leadership and Team Engagement: Led and managed a team of over 750 IT professionals, fostering innovation and collaboration, aligning IT strategies with business goals, driving uniform communication and teamwork.
