Business continuity planning
GRAIL has emergency response and business continuity preparatory programs. The emergency response program was designed to respond to a variety of onsite emergencies (e.g., earthquakes, injuries, etc.) that may occur. Our business continuity program provides a framework for preparation, response, and recovery for those events that prevent normal operations. Because there are a wide range of potential events, from problems with suppliers, pandemics, and natural and manmade disasters, the program is managed by a multidisciplinary committee. The committee uses a review process to identify potential issues and concerns and to identify and implement projects to mitigate those issues and concerns. In the event of a disruptive event, key members of the larger business continuity planning committee meet to implement the necessary programs, procedures and projects needed to restore GRAIL to normal operations.
