Overview

TCS BaNCS solution for Agent and Broker is web based software offering which provides comprehensive support for the advisory, product selling and back office business functions of an insurance agent or broker.

This application enables the agent/broker community to offer products from multiple insurance companies to their individual and corporate customers, using appropriate delivery channels. It can be integrated with multiple insurers’ core insurance applications, thereby being able to offer comparative quotes, collect premium and issue/renew policies on line.

It offers self service capabilities to both individual and corporate customers. The customers can compare quotes and purchase/renew policies on the broker’s customer portal. The brokers can also design limited period special plans for institutional customers; employees of such customers can directly purchase the policies and enjoy special discounts offered exclusively as part of the plan.

TCS BaNCS solution also offers the agent/broker to take complete control on structure and functioning of the delivery channels. A broker can define its own organizational hierarchy and restrict its internal users to specific business operations; for example, some employees may be allowed to transact only Motor policies while some others transact Health policies exclusively. The broker can also define point of sales hierarchy and associate the same with its own structure
